Oddly when I created Ruffle of the Night Swan, it was another "finger paint" "therapy" session of mine. However out of the chaos, it was this swan that emerged.

I ended up highlighting the painting in pearls and charcoal. I thought the painting that emerged so fitting, since once the pearls were added to the painting, it looked just like moonlight on the swan, giving the water a green appearance and warm wash of blue over the swan.
